EPIC: Surpassing the Ordinary-week 2 (sermon 10-4-09)
Text: Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24-25; John 15:12; Galatians 6:2; Romans 12:15-16
Big Idea: If you want to live a life that is EPIC you need to be going deeper with other believers.
This was week 2 of our series EPIC: Surpassing the Ordinary. The stage was decorated with a number of old books and a globe to make it feel like an old library or study. The idea is that anything that is epic, anything that surpasses the ordinary takes time and effort. It doesn’t just happen. Having a life that surpasses the ordinary doesn’t just happen either-it will take time and effort and consistnecy and commitment on our part. It also means we will have to take off our masks and open up to those around us.
